How much will I need for a down payment?

There are still nothing down programs available, this can vary on where you are looking to buy, your veteran status, how your credit is, what you want your monthly payment to be, and how much you have available to put down or be gifted for a down payment. Conventional loans can be 5% or 3% down, FHA is typically 3.5% down – however, we still have nothing down mortgages with rural properties or down payment assistance.
